Brew it for Ben

This year marks Ben Franklin's 300th birthday (and Mozart's 250th, but he's not quite so brewalicious). A number of breweries around the country have toasted the event by brewing a "Poor Richard's Ale" in commemoration of the big three-oh-oh. What better way to remember a colonial genius who's most famous in brewing circles for an oft-misquoted opinion of beer? Of course, the year's hardly over yet - go thee and produce an American ale of yore with these guidelines, my homies.

I may yet brew this recipe, but there are other beers to brew, don't you know?
Good Brewing to you,
